WELCOME
TO THE
NETWORK
The SLYE Network is a grassroots, cross-sector collaboration (inclusive of partners from sectors such as government, non-government, faith/cultural groups, private business, schools) that works towards increased community engagement and equitable access to services for Toronto youth.
Monthly network meetings are organized so that members have the opportunity to meet new people who are invested in youth, to share their resources, and to find new ways to collaborate. If you are interested in joining the SLYE Network, please contact us!

THE VISION
We believe in a world where all young people are socially and economically included in matters that affect their lives. Our vision is to create an inclusive society where every young person can fully participate, voice their opinions, access quality education and healthcare, and thrive without financial barriers. By valuing their diverse perspectives, we commit to empowering young people to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
THE MISSION
We strive for increased community engagement and equitable access to services for all Toronto youth. By fostering strong connections between young people and their communities, we aim to create supportive environments where every youth feels valued and heard. Our mission is to ensure that all Toronto youth have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed and contribute positively to society.
THE FUNDER
Thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for funding this initiative and for their incredible support. Their generous contribution has been instrumental in making this program possible, enabling us to reach and positively impact the lives of countless youth. We deeply appreciate their commitment to fostering community development and empowering young people across Ontario. Together, we are creating a brighter future for our communities.
OUR IMPACT
The Slye Roadshow has been helping youth discover and access the resources and supports available to them since 2009. We have built, and will continue to build, a direct bridge between young people and youth specific services.
In 2019 & 2020, quantitative data was collected and focus groups were conducted using a third party evaluator in order to measure our desired outcome (equitable access to resources and increased engagement in community for Toronto youth). The data collected has significantly supports the positive impact the Peer2 Peer Trainings & Roadshows have had in influencing our desired outcome.
