The SLYE Virtual Leadership Program is a four-week online program for high school students from the Toronto area between the ages of 13-18, designed to provide leadership and skills development. Youth leaders will gain leadership skills and have the opportunity to put those skills into practice through the planning and leading of an online community resource fair (which we call a Roadshow!).

THE FORMAT

WEEK 1: The SLYE Virtual Leadership Program begins with a 2-hour leadership workshop, followed by a 30-minute meeting where you meet with your Roadshow Planning Group and SLYE Facilitator to begin planning your Roadshow

WEEK 2: Youth will attend a 1-hour skill development training, followed by a 30-minute meeting with your Roadshow group

WEEK 3: Youth will attend a final 1-hour skill development training, followed by a 30-minute meeting with your Roadshow group

WEEK 4: SLYE Youth Leaders will host their own 1-hour Roadshow!

All participants will receive volunteer hours, a gift card and certificate for completing the SLYE Virtual Leadership Program (which includes attending each workshop and participating in the planning & executing of the Roadshow).
